Seattle Pilates Abs Workout
The Pilates method offers a challenging workout for your abs and the other muscles that form your core. By targeting the muscles in the abs and lower back, you can not only improve your physique, but also your posture and alignment. In addition, strong abs and a strong core provide the foundation for many other movements.
Whether you are dancing or hitting a baseball, the abs play a central role. Much of the power necessary for these tasks--as well as everyday tasks like sitting upright while driving or working--stems from the abs and the core. Each of the exercises in the Pilates method is aimed at strengthening these muscles through controlled and fluid movements.
Types of Seattle Pilates Abs Workout Sessions
At Pilates Northwest, we offer our Seattle clients individual and group workout sessions. In our one-on-one sessions, you can work with our certified trainers to target your abs through basic Pilates techniques. Over the course of your workout sessions, you'll begin to tone your body and create a longer and leaner appearance.
Our Seattle instructors come from a range of backgrounds, with specialties ranging from physical therapy and sports medicine to Pilates for pregnant women.
