Pilates is one of the most popular fitness routines for pregnant women. Pilates exercises, both those performed on specialized equipment and on workout mats, emphasize controlled breathing while working on the core muscles. By strengthening the abdominal, back, and pelvic floor muscles, Pilates can lead to a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery.
While some exercise programs cannot be modified to accommodate your changing body, Pilates is a flexible exercise program. Prenatal Pilates programs maintain the same focus, but reposition your body so that you are comfortable and able to proceed with the exercises. The prenatal program can also be adapted over the course of your pregnancy, as the range of exercises that you can do will change.

Our Seattle studio, just north of the downtown area, has its own parking lot so you won't have to walk far to our facilities. With private changing rooms and air conditioning throughout our Seattle studio, we're certain that you will feel comfortable coming to us for your prenatal exercise routines.
